GWM UK has confirmed the launch of its new POER300 double-cab pick-up, arriving in UK showrooms mid-September 2025. Powered by a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine (183ps, 480Nm), the POER300 features a 9-speed automatic transmission, full-time 4×4 with low-range, and delivers 32.7mpg on the combined cycle.
Built for serious work, the POER300 offers a 3,500kg towing capacity and 1,000kg payload, making it ideal for business and agricultural users. Already successful in Australia (as the Cannon Ute), it has gained a strong reputation for value and capability.
The POER300 combines bold styling with premium interior features, including a 12.3-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and 7.0-inch digital driver display. Off-road capabilities are enhanced by multiple terrain modes, a rear diff lock, and 230mm ground clearance.
Three trims will be offered:
Lux: 18″ alloys, leatherette seats, keyless entry, safety tech
Ultra: Adds heated/cooled seats, ambient lighting, sunroof, 360° camera
Vanta: Blacked-out styling, black alloy wheels
All models come with a 5-year/125,000-mile warranty. Prices start at £31,495 CVOTR for the Lux trim.
GWM UK expects the POER300 to appeal to small businesses and rural users seeking a capable, high-tech, and affordable alternative in the pick-up market.
