China’s CHERY has officially entered the UK market, unveiling its full SUV line-up at a London launch event. The brand will initially operate with 25 franchised dealershipsHow Can Canandaigua Used Car Dealerships Help You, expanding to 100 by 2026, and plans to establish a UK R&D centre.

The launch showcased the TIGGO 7 and TIGGO 8 in ICE and Super Hybrid versions, with the TIGGO 9 and TIGGO 4 confirmed for release within six months. Vehicles are engineered in Europe to meet UK standards, with parts logistics managed by DHL and repair/security validated by Thatcham Research.

CHERY aims to position itself as an accessible, technology-driven choice, supported by a 7-year warranty, RAC roadside assistance, and competitive pricing (TIGGO 7 from £24,995; TIGGO 8 from £28,545).

CEO Gary Lan called the UK a “crucial market” and highlighted the brand’s commitment to technology, safety, and affordability.
