The all-new OMODA 7 has just been confirmed for the UK. Designed specifically for British roads, this mid-size, five-seat SUV features the latest passive and active technology, premium comfort, and OMODA’s “Art in Motion” design philosophy.
The OMODA 7 will arrive in January 2026, priced from £29,915 OTR for the petrol and £32,000 OTR for the hybrid, available through OMODA & JAECOO’s nationwide dealer network.
Two Powertrains, Two Trim Levels
Buyers will get a choice between two proven engines from parent company Chery International.
1.6L TGDI Petrol: 147 PS and 275 Nm of torque, hitting 0–62 mph in 10.4 seconds with a top speed of 118 mph.
Super Hybrid System (SHS): A plug-in hybrid pairing a 1.5L engine with an 18.3 kWh battery. It produces 204 PS and 365 Nm, sprinting from 0–62 mph in 8.4 seconds and reaching a 112 mph top speed.
The hybrid system offers an unverified 56 miles of pure EV range and over 700 miles combined WLTP range, with CO₂ emissions as low as 23 g/km. Fast charging at up to 40 kW gets you from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes, and a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature lets you power external devices via a 3.3 kW port.
Knight or Noble – You Choose
OMODA will offer the 7 in two trims: Knight and Noble. The Knight packs features like a heated eco-leather steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, 19-inch alloys, and a 6-speaker SONY audio system. There’s also wireless charging and a comfortable five-seat cabin finished in soft-touch materials.
Step up to the Noble features ventilated and heated “gaming-inspired” front seats, 12-speaker SONY premium audio, power tailgate, 20-inch alloys, and a 1.45m panoramic sunroof. You even get an air-fragrance system and four-zone voice control.
Tech and Design That Stand Out
Inside, the cabin is dominated by a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital display, both powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chipset. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, OTA updates, and a 540-degree camera with transparent chassis view.
Outside, the OMODA 7 stands out with its borderless diamond-pattern grille, LED Matrix headlights, and lightning bolt-shaped rear lights. Five colours will be available: Selenite White, Obsidian Black, Chromite Silver, Larimar Green, and Iced Moonstone.
Built for British Roads?
Developed with input from OMODA’s German R&D team, the OMODA 7’s chassis has been tuned for European roads. Safety tech includes 21 ADAS systems, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane keeping.
On the practical side the 639 litres of boot space includes three ISOFIX points.
Warranty and Availability
As with all OMODA models, the 7 comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty, plus an 8-year battery warranty for hybrid models. RAC Home Start is included for the lifetime of the warranty.
