Lamborghini reported mixed results for 2025, posting record revenue of €3.2 billion and all-time high deliveries, but lower profits due to U.S. tariffs, currency pressures, and costs linked to cancelling its planned fully electric model.
Operating income fell to €768 million, with margins dropping from 27% to 24%. The company offset some of the pressure through strong sales of high-end models like the Revuelto and increased demand for customisation, with most buyers opting for personalised features.
Despite tariff impacts, Lamborghini does not plan further price increases in the near term. Looking ahead, uncertainty around global conditions and weakening demand for EVs in the luxury segment has prompted a strategic shift.
Lamborghini has scrapped its planned electric sports car and will instead introduce a plug-in hybrid “Lanzador” Grand Tourer by 2030, while continuing to invest in EV technology for the long term.
