Audi’s electric family favourite has been given a proper mid-life spruce-up, and the result is a sharper, smarter Q4 e-tron that’s aiming to stay near the top of the UK EV charts. On sale now from £46,260, the updated Q4 arrives in both SUV and Sportback forms with a cleaner look, more tech and, crucially, more range.
The headline number is up to 360 miles on a charge, making the compact Audi more usable for long-distance duties. Faster charging helps reduce waiting around, while new bidirectional charging capability means the car can do more than simply consume electricity – it can give some back too.
Inside, Audi has focused on digital polish. Every Q4 gets a huge 12.8-inch touchscreen, an 11.9-inch digital driver display, wireless smartphone connectivity and twin wireless charging pads. The cabin remains suitably premium, but now feels more connected and easier to live with day to day.

The revised trim structure starts with Sport, which already packs heated seats, three-zone climate control and plenty of tech. S line adds larger wheels, sportier styling and sharper driving hardware, while Black Edition turns up the visual drama with gloss black detailing and extra comfort kit.

At the top sits Vorsprung, complete with Matrix LEDs, OLED rear lights, a panoramic roof, SONOS audio and an augmented-reality head-up display that sounds delightfully sci-fi.
Audi says the Q4 e-tron was the UK’s third best-selling EV last year and its second most popular model overall. With more range, more technology and a tidier line-up, this refreshed version looks well placed to defend that position.
