The roads, the food, the growing gap between the rich and the poor.  America, the richest country the world has ever seen where half the country is poor, where 30 million people don’t have health care… everything is oversized including the lack of fairness. The Lincoln brand is Ford born and bred. It’s the premium luxury arm of Ford, but without the baggage.

Mid-sized and designed and engineered to take on the Mercedes GLE, Volvo XC90, rubbish BMW X5 and Audi Q7, the Lincoln Aviator will be available in 2020. The Lincoln Aviator presents modern design trends, slim LED brake lights at the rear and an awkwardly looking front grille. It looks like a cross between a Q7 and Range Rover Sport. As with every new car, especially premium cars, the Lincoln Aviator will be decked out with the latest driver assist technologies. So expect Lincoln Co-Pilot360^™, which is a radar-guided cruise control that bundles in blind Spot information, pre-collision assist, automatic emergency braking, lane assist and steering assist etc. And let’s not forget a master infotainment system complete with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. And Bluetooth. Let’s not forget about the forgotten hero that is Bluetooth. This being America the Lincoln is available as standard in rear-wheel drive. 4WD is optional. powering the Lincoln Aviator is a 400bhp, Bi-Turbo V6. Channeling that power is a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Lincoln Aviator will also be offered as a Plug-in Hybrid. That version will offer 450bhp and a reputed 800 Nm of torque. The Lincoln Aviator was revealed at the LA Motorshow. As such it’s all about the star bangled patriotism right now and pricing and availability will be made clear at a later date. It will not be available in the UK. America and China will be the Lincoln Aviator’s main sales territories.
