Will the Lucid Air become a Tesla Killer? Probably not but it could kill the Mercedes S Class and BMW 7 Series. The company’s VP Head of Design, who is known only as Derrick, gives a tour of this new all-electric sedan. The detail and attention paid to the exterior design is second to none and makes an S Class look dumb by comparison.
With a starting price of $72,500, the Lucid Air will be powered by a 1,080 horsepower dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain. The car is able to achieve a quarter-mile time in around 9.9 seconds. The Lucid Air is certainly luxury but will it tempt S Class buyers?
A certain amount will make the transition from an S Class because buyers are now demanding pure electric cars in all categories of vehicles. We’ll let Forrest YouTube man do the talking.
