Carwow’s Mat Watson is currently in rehearsals for the Bored Ape Yacht Club live stage musical. In between rehearsals he is still contracted to do his day job… being Mat Watson, reviewing cars for Carwow. In this particular review, Watson tests the Aston Martin Valkyrie, the £3M halo hypercar that is a barely disguised F1 car for the road.
Watson also tech talks with the designers and engineers behind the Valkyrie. One fascinating insight revealed was a requirement for Titanium, lots of it. Aston Martin needed so much Titanium for Valkyrie production that it drove up the price on the international markets.
However Mat Watson appeared to be distracted, he continually impersonated the NFT characters from the Bored Ape Yacht Club in preparation for his Broadway debut in December. It looks like a Tony Award-winning show is in the making.
Mat Watson is not a working actor.

Mat Watson has no affiliation with the Bored Ape Yacht Club brand and will not be impersonating any cartoon ape, bored or otherwise, in a Broadway musical at any point in the future… unless he owns a Delorean.
