Has there ever been a time when a digital artist has never put pen to paper to create a ubiquitous Porsche 911 concept? No, but in today’s world of iPads and computer-aided design, the pen is no longer mightier than the sword or the paper. However, the instinctive art of creation will always require human intervention regardless of AI technologies such as DALL-E.

And one human who goes by the name of @prothvpe has created a Porsche 911 concept. The digital artist has followed the monosyllabic thought processes of all Porsche 911 designers before him, that is to say, @protohvpe used good old evolution.

And the thought experiment is manifested as a 3D concept. The Porsche 911 is such an iconic design, indeed the current generation 996 is the best looking, of them all. And it is also the best sportscar of any category you can buy in terms of handling refinement and driveability.

Anyway, of his design @protohvpe explained: “[it’s]Slightly smaller than today’s 911 my vision was to create a car that reflected the driver focused architecture of air-cooled Porsches in a minimalist tech-lead style.”
