But not yet, not yet. Figure 02 is the second-generation Ai Powered-general-purpose humanoid robot designed to complement the existing human workforce and is also being developed for the consumer market. Figure.ai, the California company behind Figure 02, is currently testing it with BMW.

Figure.ai has raised over $675M, with significant support from long-term backer OpenAI, the organization behind ChatGPT. The company is valued at $2.6BN despite not selling any products or offering Enterprise level services, as far as we can tell.

At first, I thought it was a fourth-generation Tesla Bot, as the two look remarkably similar. However, Figure 02 is built from the ground up. What we see now is just the beginning; these humanoid robots represent a quantum leap in the robotics industry.

Nevertheless, the rise of humanoid robots is still in its early stages. They require immense computational power, and the current generation of GPUs and CPUs need to be significantly more advanced to match and eventually surpass human capabilities

Once processing power reaches the necessary level, we will see much more advanced humanoid robots capable of closely matching human-like abilities in terms of mobility and logic.
