BYD has expanded its UK model range with the SEAL 6 DM-i Saloon and Touring, now available to order with deliveries starting in December. Prices start at £33,990 for the Saloon and £34,990 for the Touring, both available in Boost and Comfort grades, featuring high levels of connectivity, safety, and driver-assistance technology.

Both models are powered by BYD’s Super Hybrid DM-i (Dual Mode) plug-in system, combining EV driving refinement with a petrol-electric range of up to 935 miles for the Saloon and 839 miles for the Touring, with all-electric urban ranges of 87 miles and 81 miles, respectively.

The SEAL 6 DM-i Touring is BYD’s first wagon in Europe, offering 500 litres of load space, expandable to 1,535 litres via 40:60 split-folding rear seats, and a power tailgate as standard.

Key features across grades include alloy wheels, multimedia touchscreens (12.8-inch Boost, 15.6-inch Comfort), Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, premium audio systems, power-adjustable seats, ambient lighting, and extensive safety technologies, including Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and 360-degree cameras.

The Comfort grade adds larger wheels, a panoramic roof, heated and ventilated seats, wireless charging, and enhanced driver-assistance features, providing a more luxurious experience.
