What happens when one of Japan’s greatest supercars gets a fresh interpretation from one of Italy’s most celebrated design houses? You get the Honda NSX Tribute by Italdesign – a striking homage to a machine that once gave Ferrari and Porsche something to think about.
Officially recognised by Honda, the NSX Tribute reimagines the first-generation sports car with a more muscular, aerodynamic appearance while retaining the unmistakable character of the original.

Finished in Championship White NH0, the upper body pays tribute to the legendary NSX-R, while glossy black lower sections create a distinctly modern, motorsport-inspired look.
Up front, contemporary headlight clusters replace the original pop-up units, while sculpted bodywork and floating C-pillar fins introduce additional drama.

The aerodynamic treatment is particularly impressive. A roof-mounted air intake references the extreme NSX-R GT, while a redesigned floating rear spoiler reinterprets one of the original car’s signature features. The car also rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels wrapped in Yokohama tyres.
Inside, Italdesign has taken a more restrained approach, preserving the original NSX’s double-cockpit philosophy while introducing modern design elements inspired by Formula 1.

Subtle references to legendary driver Ayrton Senna include a miniature helmet, the number 12 and Honda script. Developed from styling through to engineering by Italdesign, the project is intended for ultra-limited series production.
It is not simply a nostalgic styling exercise. It is a carefully judged celebration of a supercar that changed the rules – and still looks rather brilliant doing so.
