McLaren 750S Enters Final Production Run
Auto News

McLaren has confirmed that final orders for its 750S supercar are now being accepted, marking the end of one of the British marque’s most successful modern supercar platforms.

Production of the 750S will conclude in 2027, a decade after the launch of its predecessor, the 720S. That model introduced a new generation of lightweight, V8-powered McLaren supercars and established a platform that would produce award-winning road cars and successful racing derivatives.

Launched in 2023, the 750S pushed the formula further, with around 30% of its components either new or revised. Its 4.0-litre V8 produces 750PS, while a dry weight of just 1,277kg helps deliver sharper performance and a more focused driving experience.

The platform has also spawned special derivatives, including the track-focused 765LT and the exclusive 788HS, limited to 200 examples.

McLaren Special Operations will continue offering bespoke personalisation for final 750S customers, with previous commissions including the 3-7-59 Theme and Project Viva.

The 750S therefore enters its final chapter as McLaren prepares for the next generation of its supercar line-up. With orders closing and production ending in 2027, the model is set to become the last expression of a platform that has defined McLaren’s approach to lightweight, V8-powered performance for the past decade.
